The Road Scholar (previously Elderhostel) program is the world-leader in lifelong learning, offering participants unparalleled opportunities for in-depth educational opportunities, cultural tours, and study cruises in over 150 countries. BIOS has been hosting Road Scholar programs since 1982 and currently offers an evening plankton excursion for the Adventures Afloat program.
