Access the data collected by our fleet of underwater gliders

The overarching goal of MAGIC is to acquire new high-resolution measurements from underwater gliders to assess the contribution of small-scale processes that sustain the ocean’s biological productivity. Here, you can access comprehensive oceanographic measurements collected by our fleet of Teledyne Webb Research Slocum underwater gliders. These data sets include crucial information of our oceans waters including temperature, salinity, conductivity, and more.

Verified for compliance by IOOS NGDAC and aggregated into a single netCDF file, our data is preserved for long-term use at the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI).

NetCDF Data

  • Data as trajectory profiles, organized by pressure and profile location rather than time. This format facilitates easier plotting and analysis. Access these netCDF files directly from Dropbox using the link.
