Arran McLeod is a Bermudian Captain with a C-Class pilot’s license and a PADI Dive Instructor certification, holding the MSDT (Master Scuba Diver Trainer) qualification. Arran has been active in Bermuda’s diving industry since 2019, initially working as a scuba diving instructor before transitioning into a captain’s role at Dive Bermuda.
With thousands of dives on various shipwrecks and reefs around the island, Arran possesses extensive knowledge and experience navigating Bermuda’s diverse underwater sites. His passion for diving and commitment to Bermuda’s waters are inspired by his grandfather, who founded the first dive shop in Bermuda, formerly known as Dave McLeod’s Skin-Diving Adventures.
Arran began his diving journey at BIOS in 2012 through the Water Start program. In 2018, he interned with Global Vision International, conducting reef and coral surveys along Mexico’s Quintana Roo coastline. During his time in Mexico, he also became a certified PADI Pro and worked as an instructor before returning to Bermuda in 2019.
In 2025, Arran joined BIOS as a Small Boats Captain.
