Mr. Kevin Richards is a thought leader in climate finance, blue economy, fintech, and international shipping.
Mr. Richards currently serves as the Managing Director of Bermuda Asset Management (BAM), providing advisory services to investment funds, family offices, renewable energy, and blue economy businesses. Mr. Richards has strong relationships with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) and brings strategic insights on how to navigate Bermuda’s international business sector to drive global growth for clients.
Mr. Richards is a certified Director and member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and graduate of the Black Boardroom Initiative (BBI) led by Perkins Coie & Deloitte, focused on diversifying public company boards.
He recently joined fully licensed digital asset business ZeroHash as a Non-Executive Director. He has held the position of Chairperson of ECAB (E-Commerce Advisory Board) to the Bermuda Government Ministry of Economy and Labour, director of Penrose Partners, Parabolic Digital and Fly Air International, early stage Web3 startups in the blockchain and digital asset sector. Mr. Richards also has experience on non-profit Boards including the Bermuda International Shipping Association (BISA), End to End Bermuda and the Council Partners Endowment Trust. Additionally, Mr. Richards was the first student-athlete at the University of Notre Dame to be drafted in the Major League (MLS) Superdraft and has represented the Bermuda national football (soccer) team in two World Cup campaigns.
